General Donation
Giving to the ACHA Foundation gives a unique opportunity to support ACHA's mission to provide quality and consumer centred medical, surgical and rehabilitation health services in a safe and caring environment.
Gifts to the ACHA Foundation can be immediate, ongoing, or arranged through a will or estate planning. Gifts can be directed to any one of our hospitals or as a general donation. Most donations are received from individuals and families, in many cases in memory of their loved ones.
The ACHA Foundation is a registered charity with donations over $2 tax deductible. A donation of any size makes a difference. We often receive donations following a patient’s admission, as an acknowledgement of appreciation for the care received. It is heart-warming to hear from our patients, who often acknowledge particular staff and areas that have made an impression and prompted a donation.
In Memoriam Donations
The ACHA Foundation is thankful for the kindness of bereaved families and friends for their support of the ACHA Foundation and our hospitals during a difficult time.
If you wish to discuss a bequest, please contact us, to ensure we are able to direct your donation according to your wishes and to allow us to thank you in person.
Bequests
A bequest to the Hospital, a gift from your estate through your Will, is another way that you can support the work undertaken in our hospitals. A bequest can be a set amount or a percentage of your estate.
If you wish to discuss a bequest, please contact us, to ensure we are able to direct your donation according to your wishes and to allow us to thank you in person.
If you are making a bequest, it is advisable to discuss this with those drafting your will.
We also gratefully accept those donations made in memory of a loved one, either as a general donation or towards a specific project.
